This Cessna Conquest was modified and
painted for an Indonesian customer
that wanted to compete in an around
the world race that included stops in
the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia .
The engines were "souped-up" and it
was painted like a Bengal tiger, the
national symbol of India. With one of
our guys in the co-pilot's seat, this
aircraft made it around the world in
56 hours and four minutes running at
speeds in excess of 350 miles per hour,
winning the race over a half an hour
before the closest competitor. After
putting over $1.5 million into the
project, our client returned home a hero. |
